Service is excellent, any time birthday cakes are ordered they are promptly delivered. Great variety of tasty fillings on the sandwiches and are always fresh. Hot food is always received very well. We needed to plan our daughter's Baptism. Time was running out. We dreaded the thought of another Big Fat Greek Baptism. We were at a loss. We knew what we wanted, but didn't know if it existed. We would like to thank Diverse Function Planners for the wonderful food and beverage catering and service that you supplied at our recent Official Opening of The Heart Research Institute's new facility in Eliza Street, Newtown on 22 September 2009. Our event was one of the most prestigious days in the history of The Heart Research Institute with many VIP guests in attendance, including, the Governor General, Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC who opened the building and of course press so it was time to show the institute at its best. It was fantastic to have the reassurance that everything would work on the day. Once we confirmed the details with you and George, you took everything in hand. I remember you saying to me it will all happen on the day and you were right - it was exactly how we wanted it. The food was superb and we were very impressed with your staff, they showed great attention to detail, initiative and the food and beverage service was of 5 star quality. Would you please pass on a special thank you to Gina, who was marvellous? She knew exactly when to offer drinks or assist in any way to each and every guest. She was a great asset and certainly one we would love to have at all our events. Well done! We thank you for making the Opening of The Heart Research Institute suh a successful day. What an exciting and organised company! Through a contact at school I was introduced to Nicole at Diverse Function Planners. We had a Christmas Function that was being organised with a group of parents from the school. The function had a slight twist - we needed a large marquee to fit into a basketball court and make it look like a party atmosphere. Catering for 250 guests is always going to be a difficult situation but Nicole and her team were always in control, working with the school time restrictions and for filling late requests such as 200 glasses, ice and buckets. The menu selection was great and very diverse so we were able to cater for all taste requirements. When the food was presented by the helpful and pleasant staff, all the guests made comments on how tasty and well presented the food was. The event was so successful that we have continued to use Nicole and Diverse Function Planners for other school function that have grown in numbers.
